About Me |
My name is Clayton, and I'm a candidate for a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University (expected graduation in May 2020). I currently live in Boston, but I grew up in a small town in southern Maine, where I attended high school at North Yarmouth Academy. I spent much of my formative years at my family's sandwich shop and specialty food store - The Good Life Market. It was growing up in my parents' business that not only fostered my love of food and coffee, but also taught me the importance of being hard-working, self-driven, and to emphasize quality of products and services. These traits form the cornerstone of how I try to live my life, both in professional and personal endeavors. Whether it be in the engineering industry, the food industry, or in day-to-day life, no one ever rose to the top by cutting corners.
Within engineering, I have gathered a multitude of experiences and interests including robotics, small engines, consumer products, and aerospace through previous co-ops, classes, and personal projects. Outside of engineering, I am an avid lover of music and a lifelong musician, a passionate Boston sports fan, and an outdoorsman. Although I don't consider photography a burning passion of mine, I enjoy taking photographs from my travels. The footer photographs in each section of this website are ones that I've taken at Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park, the Roman Forum, the Swiss Alps, and a rooftop in Boston. |
